Visiting the site

The studio website has no advertising, analytics tools, account registration or contact forms. The website code does not set cookies or use local storage. Your browser may cache public pages and assets.

Our hosting provider processes connection information, such as IP addresses and requests, to deliver and protect the website.

The public website is hosted by Cloudflare. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the website for this processing. Cloudflare’s privacy policy describes its processing and international safeguards.

Emailing the studio

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond and manage your enquiry. Messages are stored in Apple iCloud Mail. Please include only information needed for your enquiry. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and providing support. We process data-rights requests to meet our legal obligations.

We retain enquiry and support correspondence as follows: Routine enquiries are deleted 12 months after resolution, except where needed for ongoing disputes or legal obligations.

Hosting and security records: We use Cloudflare to host and protect this website. It processes technical information such as IP addresses and request information to deliver pages, maintain reliability and prevent abuse. We do not maintain a separate visitor-log database. Cloudflare may retain service and security information for periods determined by the type of information, operational and security needs, and legal obligations. Its Privacy Policy explains these retention criteria.

International processing

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and our email provider, Apple iCloud Mail, operate internationally. Information may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States. Cloudflare describes its international transfer safeguards in its Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum. Apple describes its international processing and safeguards in its Privacy Policy. Your rights

You may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to processing, and receive a portable copy where applicable. Contact us to make a request. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests by emailing privacy@clearfellstudio.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
